The Mellon Family Breakfast Bake
An annual Mellon family tradition, this breakfast bake is a gift unto itself! It’s my single-most requested dish from friends and family alike, and perfect for Christmas morning since it needs to set overnight anyway. Simply wake up, pop in the oven and breakfast is on its way. No work. No mess. All delight!
Trevor’s Potato Casserole
I am fully aware that this is yet another potato recipe but if there was a Mt. Rushmore of Thanksgiving dishes it would go. 1. Potato Casserole, 2. Potato Casserole, 3. That Green Jello Stuff (I might be alone on this), and 4. Potato Casserole. I love this stuff so much that my grandmother makes me a separate dish to take home with me every year, needless to say, I am obsessed. There is nothing you can’t like about this dish, super cheesy, very creamy and some crunch; and let’s be honest with ourselves, this year we need all of the carbs and cheese we can get. Classic French Gratin Dauphinois
Gratin Dauphinois is a traditional French dish from south-eastern France that Account Manager Alvina Olivier enjoys cooking for special occasions. It pairs very well with red meat, ham or pork roast and a nice Syrah (Côte-Rôtie). Bon appétit!
The World’s Best Mashed Potatoes (or as we call them, Mashmoes)
These are a family favorite with our Account Director Betsy’s family. They’re super easy to make, filled with all the “bad stuff” as her grandmother would say, and extra delicious. They usually make their way to the table for ALL the holiday gatherings and are easy to bring along to a friends and pop them in the oven!
