Idea Hall (“Idea Hall,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through ideahall.com (the “Site”), how we use and share it, and the choices available to you.
By using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us
We collect personal information only when you choose to provide it, such as when you fill out a contact form, request information about our services, subscribe to a newsletter, apply for a position, or otherwise communicate with us. This includes:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Any additional details you include in a message, form field, or attachment
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically by us and by our analytics and advertising partners, including:
- IP address and general location derived from it
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages viewed, links clicked, time spent on pages, and scroll behavior
- The website or ad that referred you to the Site
- Cookie identifiers and similar device identifiers
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as government identification numbers, financial account numbers, health information, or precise geolocation through the Site.

Managing cookies. You can review and change your cookie choices at any time using the cookie preferences tool available on the Site. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though doing so may affect how the Site works.
Third-party tracking. Because these third parties operate on the Site, they may collect information about your online activity over time and across different websites, including websites other than ours. We do not control their collection or use of that information. Their practices are governed by their own privacy policies:
Do Not Track. There is currently no uniform industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring browser “Do Not Track” signals. For that reason, the Site does not respond to Do Not Track signals. You can manage tracking on the Site through our cookie preferences tool as described above.
4. Advertising and Remarketing
We advertise on Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and LinkedIn. These platforms use cookies and similar technologies to show our ads to people who may be interested in our services, including people who have previously visited the Site. This practice is commonly called remarketing or retargeting.
We may also provide contact information, such as an email address, to these platforms so they can match it to their users and show ads to those people or to audiences with similar characteristics. This matching process is handled by the platform, and we do not receive the platform’s underlying user data in return.
You can limit interest-based advertising through your account and ad settings on each platform, including Google Ads Settings, your Meta ad preferences, and your LinkedIn advertising settings. Opting out does not stop you from seeing ads; it means the ads you see will be less tailored to you.
5. Email Communications
We use HubSpot to send marketing and informational emails. These emails may contain tracking technologies that tell us whether an email was opened and which links were clicked, which helps us understand what content is useful.
Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us at info@ideahall.com to be removed from our lists. We may still send you non-marketing messages necessary to respond to your inquiry or fulfill a business relationship.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers. Vendors that operate the Site and our business on our behalf, including our website host, email and marketing platform (HubSpot), analytics provider (Google Analytics), and IT and security providers. These vendors are permitted to use the information only to provide services to us.
- Advertising partners. Google, Meta, and LinkedIn, as described in Sections 3 and 4.
- Professional advisors. Attorneys, accountants, and insurers where reasonably necessary.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- Legal and safety. When we believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or a governmental request, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Idea Hall, our clients, or others.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to maintain our business records, and to comply with legal, tax, and accounting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information to us through unencrypted email or web forms.
9. Your Choices and How to Reach Us About Your Information
You may:
- Review, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@ideahall.com. We will respond to reasonable requests and may need to verify your identity first. We may retain information where we are required or permitted by law to do so.
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email or by contacting us.
- Manage cookies using the cookie preferences tool on the Site or your browser settings.
- Limit ad targeting through the ad settings of Google, Meta, and LinkedIn.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for a general business audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16 for advertising purposes. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@ideahall.com and we will delete it.
11. California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)
This section is provided in accordance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act, California Business and Professions Code sections 22575 through 22579.
- Categories of personally identifiable information we collect. Name, email address, phone number, the contents of messages you send us, IP address, and device, browser, and Site usage information, as described in Section 1.
- Categories of third parties with whom we may share that information. Service providers (including our website host, HubSpot, and Google Analytics), advertising platforms (Google, Meta, and LinkedIn), professional advisors, parties to a business transfer, and government or legal authorities where required, as described in Section 6.
- How you can review and request changes to your information. Email us at info@ideahall.com with your request. See Section 9.
- How we notify you of material changes to this Policy. We will post the revised Policy on this page and update the “Last Updated” date. For material changes, we will provide more prominent notice, such as a notice on the Site’s homepage or an email to subscribers where appropriate. See Section 13.
- Effective date. The effective date of this Policy appears at the top of this page.
- How we respond to Do Not Track signals. See Section 3.
- Third-party collection across websites. Third parties may collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use the Site. See Section 3.
12. Third-Party Websites
The Site may link to websites, social media pages, and services operated by others. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with information.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last Updated” date above. If the changes are material, we will provide more prominent notice as described in Section 11. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
