This year’s Hall-iday Guide will help you find key information for SoCal’s best holiday experiences to attend with friends & family!

Here are just a few to places to celebrate this season:

  1. Surf City Winter Wonderland| Huntington Beach Pier Plaza
    November 18, 2022 – January 8, 2023 | time varies
    Surf City Winter Wonderland is as beachfront as it gets, with an unobstructed view of the pier, sand, and sea. Experience Huntington Beach’s coastline in a merry new way this holiday season! Beginning Friday, November 26, Huntington Beach’s Pier Plaza will be home to Surf City Winter Wonderland, where residents and visitors can “skate” next to our City beach like never before! This partnership between the City of Huntington Beach and Ice-America will give our community another way to enjoy our Downtown on ice!. Tickets: $18-$20
  2. Celebrate Hanukkah With Us| Pretend City
    Sunday, December 18| Activity times vary based on scheduled special day programming times.
    Spin the dreidel and light the Menorah! We’re celebrating Hanukkah at Pretend City! Let your little ones learn about this holiday through fun activities, traditions, games, and art! We will have full days of fun singing songs and getting in the holiday spirit! Included with museum admission.
  3. Christmas Train| Irvine Park Railroad
    November 25 – December 23, 2022
    ‘Tis the season for Irvine Park Railroad’s annual Christmas Train. Come with family and friends and take this enchanting ride through historic Irvine Regional Park to meet Santa Clause. The train will depart from the train station and drop passengers off at the North Pole. Children can share their wish list with Santa and have their photo taken with him too. You may take pictures with your personal camera or you may purchase a photo taken by Irvine Park Railroad.
  4. Fiesta Navidad| Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall
    December 23, 2022 | 8:00pm
    One of Orange County’s most beloved holiday events, Fiesta Navidad, features the Grammy Award®-winning Mariachi Los Camperos in a concert filled with festive music and dance. This celebration of Mexican holiday traditions is a joyous annual tradition at Segerstrom Center, perfect for the whole family.
  5. Christmas Boat Parade| Newport Harbor
    December 14 – December 18, 2022 | 6:30pm
    Watch beautifully decorated yachts, boats, kayaks and canoes sail along the harbor in the 114th Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade. This year’s parade will be held Wednesday through Sunday, December 14-18, 2022 and is once again hosted by the Commodores Club of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce.
