23 Reasons We Still Believe in Goodness | Celebrating 23 Years of Idea Hall

Twenty-three years ago, Idea Hall was built on a simple idea: that good work can do good in the world.

Since then, we’ve had the privilege of helping launch brands, support causes, celebrate communities, navigate challenges, tell important stories, and work alongside people who wake up every day determined to make things better.

So this month, in honor of our 23rd anniversary, we’re sharing 23 reasons we still believe in goodness. Some are personal. Some are professional. Some happened close to home. Others happened around the world.

All of them remind us why we remain optimistic about what comes next.

Twenty-Three Years Later, We’re Still Here

In an industry that changes by the minute, we’re proud to celebrate 23 years of Idea Hall. What started as a vision has become a team, a culture, a community, and a portfolio of work that has touched countless lives. More than anything, this milestone reminds us that relationships, trust, and purpose never go out of style.

Mental Health Is Finally Part of the Conversation

Not long ago, many people suffered in silence. Today, communities, employers, schools, and healthcare organizations are talking openly about mental health in ways that were once unthinkable. Progress isn’t perfect, but it is happening.

Volunteers Continue to Show Up

Every year, millions of people give their time with no expectation of recognition. They simply see a need and respond. That’s one of the most encouraging things about humanity.

Leadership Can Still Create Change

This year, Rebecca Hall served as Chair of the Orange County Business Council, helping lead conversations around the future of Orange County. It’s a reminder that leadership isn’t about titles—it’s about creating opportunities for others and helping move communities forward.

Communities Still Rally Around One Another

Whether responding to disasters, supporting neighbors in need, or championing local causes, people continue to prove that community remains one of our greatest strengths.

Trust Has Become More Valuable Than Ever

In a world overflowing with content, trust is the currency that matters most.

Great People Keep Joining the Journey

This year, we welcomed Karena Bibbins, Kalena Nevares, Lindsey Berman, and Carson Turbedsky to the Idea Hall team. Every new person brings fresh ideas, new perspectives, and new possibilities. One of the greatest gifts of 23 years in business has been watching talented people grow, lead, and leave their mark in goodness.

The World Is Getting Better at Solving Big Problems

Renewable energy adoption continues to accelerate globally. Healthcare innovation is advancing faster than ever. While challenges remain, progress is happening in places that rarely make the evening news.

Food Continues to Bring People Together

Whether it’s a family dinner, a community fundraiser, or a food bank distribution, meals remain one of the simplest and most powerful ways people connect.

Creativity Still Wins

The tools have changed. The platforms have changed. The need for great ideas hasn’t.

Good Work Takes Many Forms

This year, we’ve had the privilege of partnering with organizations feeding families, expanding access to healthcare, supporting mental wellness, strengthening communities, responding to disasters, educating future leaders, and creating opportunities for those who need them most. The challenges may be different, but the common thread is the people working every day to make lives better.

Our Clients Continue to Inspire Us

One of the greatest privileges of our work is partnering with organizations tackling some of society’s biggest challenges. Every day, they remind us what purpose-driven work looks like in action.

Young People Care About More Than Profit

The next generation is asking harder questions about impact, purpose, sustainability, and responsibility. That’s good for business, and even better for society.

Getting Our Hands Dirty Never Gets Old

This year, our team stepped away from our desks and into the community, volunteering, serving, mentoring, fundraising, and supporting causes that matter. Because after 23 years, we still believe the best way to champion goodness is to participate in it.

AI Didn’t Replace Creativity

It simply made creativity more important. The future belongs to organizations that combine technology with humanity.

Purpose-Driven Partnerships Continue to Thrive

This year, we watched clients, nonprofits, businesses, and community leaders come together to create meaningful impact. From raising awareness and expanding access to critical services to supporting local causes and strengthening communities, we’re reminded that the best partnerships don’t just achieve business goals—they make a difference.

People Still Want Human Connection

Despite all the technology in the world, people continue to seek relationships, belonging, and community. Some things never change.

We Continue Showing Up Beyond the Office

From volunteer projects and community events to nonprofit partnerships and civic leadership, our team continues to invest in the communities where we live and work. That’s always been part of who we are.

Good Stories Still Matter

Facts inform. Stories inspire. The organizations that understand both will always stand apart.

Nonprofits Continue Doing Extraordinary Work

Often with limited resources and little recognition, nonprofit leaders continue solving some of the toughest challenges facing our communities.

We Still Love What We Do

After 23 years, we remain energized by the opportunity to create, collaborate, solve problems, and help good organizations tell their stories.

Optimism Is Still a Competitive Advantage

The people building the future aren’t the ones predicting failure. They’re the ones willing to imagine something better and work toward it.

We’ve Seen Too Much Goodness Not to Believe in It

We’ve seen communities rebuild after disasters. Families find support. Students earn scholarships. Organizations grow. Leaders step up. Volunteers give their time. Neighbors help neighbors.

After 23 years, we’ve learned that goodness isn’t rare.

It’s all around us.

And it’s worth celebrating.

Looking Back and Looking Ahead

When Rebecca Hall launched Idea Hall in 2003, she didn’t start with clients, a team, or even an office. She started with a belief that organizations deserved strategic partners who could bring every discipline together under one roof and lead with strategy before tactics. As she reflected during our anniversary celebration, “I had no clients, no team, and just an idea.” That idea became Idea Hall.

Over the years, the agency has grown, adapted, weathered economic downturns, expanded into new industries, and embraced new ways of working. But through every chapter, one thing has remained constant: our commitment to purpose-driven work and the relationships that make it possible. The clients, projects, tools, and challenges may change, but the opportunity to create meaningful impact never does.

After 23 years, that’s one more reason we still believe in goodness: the best chapters are still ahead.
