Civic 50

Sept. 2025 The Civic 50 Post IH

This year, Idea Hall was honored to be named to The Civic 50 Orange County for the 9th consecutive year, recognizing the 50 most community-minded companies in our region. The award highlights organizations that weave purpose into their business, and we’re proud to stand among so many leaders who are shaping a stronger, more connected OC.

Our team joined fellow honorees at the Civic 50 event, celebrating the impact that businesses can make when they come together in service of community. From pro bono partnerships and volunteer initiatives, to our purpose-driven work this recognition reflects the heart of Idea Hall, where Goodness is always at the center.

We were honored to attend the 2025 OC PRSA Protos Awards, where we celebrated our clients, our purpose-driven work, and the power of bold ideas. Idea Hall and our incredible clients received recognition across several categories:

  • Masons of California | Online Marketing Programs
  • Second Harvest Food Bank of OC | Online Marketing Programs
  • City of Irvine – State of the Great Park | Special Events & Observances

These awards reflect the strength of our partnerships and the impact of work grounded in purpose and creativity. Each honor represents not only the campaigns themselves, but also the collaboration, trust, and shared vision that made them possible.

For Masons of California and Second Harvest Food Bank of OC, the recognition underscores how thoughtful digital strategies can drive meaningful engagement and measurable results. With the City of Irvine, the award celebrates an event that brought a community together and showcased the spirit of place-making at its best.

We are proud to stand alongside our clients in bringing these initiatives to life. Their boldness fuels our creativity, and together we are building stories and experiences that matter.

OC Water Summit 2025

This month, Idea Hall joined regional leaders, policymakers, and innovators at the 17th Annual OC Water Summit, the premier gathering focused on the future of water in Orange County. Centered on the theme “Turning the Valve: Abundance for Orange County,” the Summit sparked thoughtful conversations around supply challenges, policy issues, and the collaborative solutions needed to sustain our communities for generations to come.

Hearing from experts, industry stakeholders, and community voices gave us a deeper understanding of the current and future landscape of water in our region. The event reinforced how water connects to every part of life and business in Orange County, from economic development to environmental responsibility and why the dialogue around resilience and innovation is so vital.

For Idea Hall, attending the Summit was not only inspiring but also invaluable. These insights help us better anticipate the challenges and opportunities our clients face within the water and infrastructure sectors. By staying close to the conversations shaping the industry, we’re able to bring more informed, purposeful strategies that empower our clients to lead, communicate, and make lasting impact

Power Without Permission Andreas Pettersson Book cover 3

At Idea Hall, we champion purpose-driven work that moves people forward. Power Without Permission is a purpose-built guide for leaders – especially women and the allies who support them – who are tired of impostor syndrome at work slowing their impact. Written by former tech CEO and coach Andreas Pettersson with 13 women co-authors, it blends real stories with tangible tools for overcoming impostor syndrome, eliminating self-doubt, and showing up with presence and purpose.

Rebecca Hall, Founder & CEO of Idea Hall, says: “In a world where 75% of executive women report impostor syndrome, this book turns awareness into action. It gives leaders clear language and simple practices to empower them to show up at full strength. That’s goodness in motion.”

Inside you’ll find practical moves you can use today to: reset pre-meeting spirals, set clear boundaries, ask those big questions, and convert results into visible achievements without sacrificing your health, family, or authenticity. It’s also a field guide for teams who want more momentum and less friction every day. For organizations, that means more voices at full strength, faster decisions, and cultures where brilliance is seen and heard. If you mentor rising leaders or care about equity, this is a resource you can put in motion immediately.

Power Without Permission launches today, September 25.
