March Goodness Roundup: Big Wins, Bright Ideas & Community Moments

2026 Goodness Report - Linkedin Article Cover (14)

At Idea Hall, we’ve found that the most meaningful work happens when purpose, results, and strong partnerships come together.

Every campaign, collaboration, and conversation is an opportunity to create something meaningful, to spark connection, strengthen trust, and deliver outcomes that extend beyond the moment.

March brought that philosophy to life in a number of ways. From immersive brand storytelling and award-winning creative to community engagement and leadership dialogue, this month reflects how integrated strategy and thoughtful execution continue to drive both business and community impact.

It’s a reminder that strong brands aren’t built through a single moment – but through consistent, intentional work that resonates with the audiences and communities they serve. Here’s a look at what shaped this past month!

Celebrating Community Leadership – OCBC Annual Dinner

The atmosphere was electric as nearly 800 business and community leaders came together for the 2026 Orange County Business Council Annual Dinner – an evening centered on progress, partnership, and the future of Orange County.

It was a particularly meaningful night for our team as our CEO, Rebecca Hall, was recognized and honored for her service as the 2025 Board Chair. Her leadership over the past year reflects a deep commitment to strengthening the region’s economic vitality and fostering collaboration across industries.

We’re proud to see her impact recognized among such an influential group of leaders and organizations working to move Orange County forward.

The evening also marked an important transition, with Larry Chung of Southern California Edison stepping in as the 2026 Board Chair. As new leadership takes shape, the momentum continues – grounded in a shared vision and commitment to building a stronger business community.

We’re grateful to be part of this important community event!

Winning the Gold ADDY Award – UC Irvine 60th Anniversary Campaign

We’re so proud to share that Idea Hall received a Gold ADDY Award at the American Advertising Federation OC Masters of Creativity for our work on the UC Irvine 60th Anniversary poster series.

Developed in collaboration with UC Irvine and Anderson Design Group, the campaign was designed to celebrate the university’s milestone by highlighting the campus itself, its original architecture, iconic spaces, and the environments that shape the student experience.

The collectible poster series blends storytelling and design to transform familiar places into meaningful visual narratives, reinforcing connection, pride, and identity across the Anteater community.

This recognition reflects the strength of integrated creative strategy and the power of collaboration in bringing purposeful, memorable work to life.

Leadership in Focus – The Nonprofit Edge Podcast

Effective leadership is often defined by how organizations navigate moments of uncertainty.

Rebecca Hall recently joined Fulcrum CEO Chris Looney on an episode of The Nonprofit Edge podcast to discuss crisis communications and the realities nonprofit leaders face when navigating unexpected challenges.

From leadership transitions to reputational risks and funding disruptions, these moments require clarity, preparation, and strong alignment.

The conversation highlights the importance of proactive planning, thoughtful messaging, and decisive action – reinforcing that while a crisis may be unpredictable, a strong response is not.

For organizations looking to strengthen their readiness, the episode offers valuable perspective on how to lead with confidence when it matters most.

Representation Matters – Honoring Women’s History Month

March is also Women’s History Month, a time to recognize the leadership, contributions, and lasting impact of women across industries and communities.

At Idea Hall, this is deeply personal. As a woman-founded and women-led agency, we’re proud to champion representation not only in what we say, but in how we show up, for our clients, our team, and our community.

We believe effective communication should reflect the world around us. That means intentionally elevating diverse voices, shaping narratives that resonate, and creating space for perspectives that drive real connection.

As our COO, Sara Sloan, puts it:

“As a woman in leadership, representation means more than just being in the room. It’s about making sure others feel confident stepping into it, too. When people feel supported and heard, that’s when real growth happens.”

Representation isn’t a moment, but an ongoing commitment. One that informs the work we do, the stories we tell, and the partnerships we choose to build.

This month and every month, we invite you to:

  • Support women-led businesses and organizations
  • Amplify voices and stories that deserve to be heard
  • Mentor, advocate, and create space for future leaders

Because progress happens when more voices are not only included but empowered.

In Case You Missed It

In case you missed it, our latest Goodness Report feature explored a major shift happening across social media, and what it means for brands today.

For years, success was measured by reach: followers, impressions, and frequency. But today, the brands seeing the strongest results are prioritizing something more meaningful – community engagement.

Audiences are no longer looking to be talked at. They want to be part of the conversation. From nonprofits like the American Red Cross and Monterey Bay Aquarium to brands like Duolingo and global firms like Gensler, organizations are finding success by creating content that invites participation, sparks dialogue and builds connection.

The takeaway is clear:
Engagement is no longer just a metric, but a strategy.

By showing up authentically, responding to audiences, and creating space for interaction, brands can turn followers into advocates and conversations into lasting relationships.
