What Nonprofits Are Focused On in 2025 

We recently asked nonprofit professionals to share their organization’s top priority — and received an incredible 1,661 responses. The results were revealing: 

🌟 35.1% said raising awareness to uncover new fundraising sources
🌟 35.0% highlighted the importance of brand awareness, board engagement, and volunteer attraction
🌟 29.9% focused on donor retention as the key to long-term success 

Nonprofits are clearly balancing multiple goals to create long-term impact — and we’re here to help achieve that mission.

We’re heading to the OCBC Healthcare Forum! 


Idea Hall will be attending the Orange County Business Council’s 2025 Healthcare Forum this month, gaining insights into the future of healthcare policy, innovation, and equity. If you’ll be there, come say hi! We’re always up for a great conversation (and a good cup of coffee). 

 

Come Be Part of a Brighter Future at State of the Great Park  

On May 6, the City of Irvine invites the community to The State of the Great Park — a free, interactive event that explores the past, present, and future of the Great Park, America’s largest under-development municipal park with a $1 billion vision in progress. 

Attendees will experience immersive exhibits, virtual reality installations, and exciting activations from local cultural and sports partners like Pretend City Children’s Museum, OC Music & Dance, Pacific Symphony, and the Anaheim Ducks. With over six million annual visits and bold plans ahead, the Great Park is more than a destination — it’s a legacy in the making. 

Idea Hall is proud to work on this incredible effort as part of our mission to champion purpose-driven stories that shape stronger, more connected communities.

PRSA Bronze Anvil Nomination 

We’re honored to be nominated for a 2025 PRSA Bronze Anvil Award, recognizing outstanding communications tactics that contribute to the success of overall programs or campaigns, for “Discover Freemasonry” A Digital Membership Lead Gen Campaign with the Masons of California! The Anvils have set the standard for industry excellence, and have long been considered the icon of the profession and the benchmark of outstanding performance in communications.  

Our team crafted a data-driven paid social campaign designed to debunk myths, highlight fraternity values, and drive membership interest. With compelling storytelling, strategic targeting, and creative execution, the campaign: 

✅ Generated 3,187 new member leads

✅ Achieved a 1.62% click-through rate (31.7% above industry benchmarks)

✅ Reduced cost per action to $9.41 (a 1.2% improvement from past campaigns)

Celebrating Earth, One Favorite Place at a Time 

This Earth Day, we’re reminded that creating goodness isn’t just about the work we do — it’s about how we care for the world around us. At Idea Hall, sustainability starts with everyday choices. 

From cutting down on single-use plastics to recycling paper, packaging, and electronics in our office, we’re taking meaningful steps to reduce our footprint and honor the planet we all share. 

And to celebrate what we’re protecting, our team shared the places that inspire us to keep doing better — from quiet forest trails and local beaches to national parks and the neighborhoods we call home. These landscapes fuel our purpose and remind us that every action counts.
