Jessica Neuman, Media Relations Specialist

Jessica Neuman manages media relations and public relations strategies for Idea Hall clients.  She also oversees the development and accuracy of all the agency’s media lists and contact information.

Jessica provides Idea Hall with award-winning, tenacious media placement, no matter the topic or industry.  Prior to Idea Hall, she developed her pitching and placement skills at a marketing and public relations agency in Irvine, where she worked with a number of real estate developers and organizations, and launched the award-winning national media campaign for Westminster-based First Vietnamese American Bank.  Before that, Jessica interned at Foreign Policy in Focus, a think tank in Washington D.C., where she organized event media attendance, assisted in coordination of special events, and pitched reporters covering Senate hearings on Capitol Hill.  

A graduate of the University of California Santa Cruz, Jessica holds a B.A. in Literature with a minor in Journalism.

Fun Facts:
1. What's one thing that you wish people knew about you?
My dad and I read Moby Dick when I was in third grade . . . . and I have not read it since!

2. Most odd/fun job that you have ever had?
Intern in Washington DC.

3. Greatest Academic Achievement? 
Nominated for a Columbia Collegiate Journalism Award in College.

4. Your childhood hobby? And your adulthood hobby? 
Childhood: Musician (piano and violin)
Adulthood: Reading

5. If you had the power to invent ANYTHING what would it be? What does it do? 
It would be a machine that would clean homes/apartments.
