Greg Young oversees the public relations services at Idea Hall and serves on the executive management team. In his position as Vice President, he is responsible for maintaining the quality of the agency’s public relations and marketing communications services. He also coordinates business development and partnerships. With 15 years of corporate and agency public relations and marketing experience, Greg's award-winning career encompasses several industries including consumer, foodservice, public affairs, healthcare, interactive media, real estate and trade groups. At Idea Hall he is directly involved in client relations, consulting and research coordination for all projects. Prior to joining Idea Hall, Greg served as Associate Vice President at Euro RSCG Magnet where he led the southern California consumer practice, managing several accounts, including Sprint, KB Home, Heineken, Comcast and the Toyota Pro Celebrity Race at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. Previously, Greg founded Sideshow Network, an interactive communications agency and, before that, coordinated the new media resources of (former) Irvine, California-based Electronic Media Communications (EMC). While at EMC, he specialized in developing "crossline" publicity and promotions that reached audiences on and offline. Before that he managed consumer and public affairs accounts for southern California public relations agency Laer Pearce and Associates, and, before that, was assistant director of public affairs for Kaiser Permanente's Southeast Los Angeles service area. Greg received his bachelor’s degree in communications, emphasis in public relations, from California State University, Fullerton and is accredited by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). He is past-president of the Orange County, California chapter of PRSA and was co-chair of the organization's 1999 International Conference. He is currently co-chair of OC PRSA's "Senior Roundtable" committee. He is also a current member and former board member of the International Foodservice Editorial Council (IFEC).
