I recommend doing a "Media Fast" to clear your mind of all that junk that gets injected into it all the time. It's like fasting from food to cleanse your body, but only it's your mind. You can start by turning off your TV, radio, computer, and cell phone and go for a walk, run, or swim in the pool. Let that little voice deep inside of you have a chance to speak to you again, like when you were a kid! You know - that thing called your spirit, the voice that fueled creative thought and inspiration inside us all. Then spend some one-on-one time with your wife(or husband) and kids. Eat at home and prepare your own meals by hand; No TV dinners. Read a book, write in your journal, paint or draw. Take some time outside and watch the trees blow, or the waves crash on the shore and let your thoughts run free again.
