"The Five People You Meet in Heaven" By Mitch Albom

January 16, 2006

Why did you recommend it?

It's good food for thought.

I think we are so focused on the “now” of our lives, we forget to take a look at the bigger picture.

How our lives in one way or another (for good or bad) are more like the life of “Mr. Holland's Opus”. We all infect each other with our influences. In the end, then we pass on or graduate from this test called life, all we have are the relationships and lives we touched while we were alive.

I enjoyed this book because it is a good illustration of the impact we have on each other. I recommend it to everyone, because in the end all you will be remember for are the relationship you had. Although, I don’t think you will meet five people when you die, and get all the answers to the why's of your life. I do recommend that people figure out what will happen to them when they do die and not just wait and see what happens....

Every life has a design! What was your life designed for? It didn't just happen!

Where can we go to try what you recommended?
