The Maverick Theater

April 17, 2006

Why did you recommend it?

You can’t find this quality of entertainment for this price anywhere else. An Evening at the Maverick Theater, either to see a full length play (currently playing is the 1967 classic, The Graduate), an evening of competitive Karaoke(Sat), improv comedy (Fri) or attend the Maverick Stand-Up (last Sun of the month). Main Stage shows are under $20 and the Late night weekend shows are $5 and Stand up is $8.

The Maverick is an intimate store front theater offering up many different types of entertainment. They have two stages allowing them to have a Cabaret area which serves drinks and a main stage for the dramatic productions. The cabaret area is set to look like a 1920’s speak easy and was designed by the Joseph Musil who designed the El Capitan. It is a new intimate theater experience for the new theater goer or the experienced.
