Vice President Marcie Perez
Marcie Perez is a Vice President in our Los Angeles office in charge of Idea Hall’s consumer and multicultural practices. Her 15-year background in marketing and PR includes advising general consumer and multicultural markets, media relations, event management, and lifestyle marketing. She is skilled in the strategies and tactics used to reach second- and third-generation English speaking Latino consumers.She was previously with Euro RSCG Magnet where she co-founded the firm’s Hispanic practice, managing such national accounts such as T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, Splenda, Tecate, Heineken, Mercedes and Polaroid. Her work there also included representing client interests in Central and South America. As Director of Public Relations at Tu Ciudad Magazine, she developed the magazine’s brand image via public relations, marketing, special events, and grassroots efforts. Marcie established her PR career in Orange County with Paine & Associates and Laer Pearce & Associates.
Marcie has a master’s degree in leadership and management from the University of La Verne and a bachelor’s degree in fine arts communications with an emphasis in public relations from California State University, Fullerton. She belongs to the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and currently co-chairs the Diversity and Multicultural Committees for the Los Angeles and Orange County chapters. She is a frequent speaker on topics of leadership, management, and Hispanic public relations and marketing.
